Oeko-Tex Standard 100
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is one of the worldwide best known standards for textile control and serves as a guarantee that textiles and dyes are not damaging to health and the environment. In order to prevent health risks to the consumer, it sets a standard for the exact amount and choice of chemicals. The Oeko-Tex Standard also takes the repercussions on the environment during the production process into consideration.
Fair Wear
Our suppliers are members of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). The FWF promotes fair working conditions in the textile industry worldwide. Members of the FWF vow to work by and adhere to the codex of textile manufacturers. Furthermore, the members vow to make sure that every company involved in the supply chain respects and adheres to the guidelines. The codex is based on internationally ratified conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN. The codex of the textile industry contains the following: no child labor, no compulsory labor,  warranty of safety at  work and health safety, valid employment contracts, possibility of continuing education, payment of wages that ensure a subsistence minimum, freedom of association and the right to negotiate wages, no discrimination and no excessive working hours.
